We had a very relaxing Easter Weekend. Most importantly, we celebrated the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior! By his wounds we are healed! He is ALIVE!

Best Birthday Present EVER!

Having my sweet Bella Rose to celebrate with is the best gift that I could ever have!  Chris and I are so blessed to be her parents! 

My birthday started out great! I wish I could have captured her waking up this morning. She just smiled and smiled! She laughed a little too! This is the first morning she has been that expressive.

I'm breaking all of my rules about holding a baby all day. Today is an exception, we are cuddling none stop!  I'm going to miss her so much when I go back to work next week.

But for now...this is what I get to enjoy. Thanks for making my birthday so special, Bella.

First Sponge Bath!

Ok..so the life of a new mom is rough! I have a whole new appreciation for moms everywhere!  Many days Bella doesn't nap at all! Ugh!  I apologize for my delay in posts..but hope to post at least once a day for the next few days to catch everyone up!

So here we go! Bella's first sponge bath was an adventure. We were very careful to avoid her umbilical cord. She loves having her hair washed. But overall, the bath didn't soothe her like we had planned.  Nor did she like the massage of nighttime baby lotion.

Chris wouldn't let me post any nude pics....sorry folks! There was a real cute one with her naked and a rubber duckie over her privates....oh well! :(
