Baby's size: This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (
like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with her legs extended.
Baby's development: She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother her, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.
Best of the week: Feeling Bella move constantly! Having friends and family rub my tummy!
Worst of the week: Again, frequent potty breaks! Acid Reflux has begun!
Side Effects: I'm starting to feel uncomfortable sitting on the couch, standing for a long time, or riding in the car. Also, I am feeling a tightness in my throat occasionally. I think it is associated with acid reflux.
Cravings: Biscuits (especially those from Hardees)..although my husband refuses to give in to my cravings because he said they aren't from the baby..they are from me! :)
Here are the updates on last week's goals:
- Go on "mommy walks" -- not yet, although I do plan on doing a prenatal video tonight!

You look beautiful Holly!!! I love all your updates!
We are going with pampers too-- I've heard they are the best!
I am so jealous that your nursery is cleaned out enough where you can even have "vacuum" on your list to do!
I seriously need to start walking more... eugh wish we lived closer so we could do it together!
OH and what devotional are you doing?? I've been talking to Kyle about wanting to start one for new parents!!
Thanks for the compliments ladies!
I bought a Denise Austin pregnancy workout video off of Amazon. I did it yesterday...it has cardio and toning. It was fun...but I could only do about 15 minutes of it.
We are doing a devotional I found at the Christian book store called Expectant Moments by Gene and Lisa Fant. It is a 100 day devotional.
awesome thanks!!!
